- Technicians must have valid trade licenses (if applicable) and legal authorization to provide services in their area.
- Customers and Technicians must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information.
3. User Responsibilities
a) For Customers:
- You agree to provide accurate service requests.
- You are solely responsible for evaluating and hiring technicians.
- Payments must be made through approved methods on the Platform (if applicable).
b) For Technicians:
- You must possess the proper certifications, licenses, and skills for your services.
- You must maintain accurate profile information.
- You are solely responsible for the services you provide and their quality.
- You agree not to solicit customers for off-platform transactions that bypass 5kmFix.com fees.
4. Fees and Payments
- Platform fees (if applicable) will be clearly communicated before booking.
- Technicians may be charged a service fee or commission for jobs sourced via the platform.
- All payments processed through 5kmFix.com are subject to applicable taxes.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users (both Customers and Technicians) may not:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Post harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
- Use the platform for fraudulent or unauthorized purposes.
- Attempt to access data or services not intended for you.
6. Dispute Resolution
- 5kmFix.com is not responsible for disputes between Customers and Technicians.
- However, we may assist in resolving conflicts where appropriate.
- All claims must be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration in Ontario, Canada.
7. Limitation of Liability
- 5kmFix.com is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform or services arranged through it.
- Technicians are independent contractors, not employees or agents of 5kmFix.com.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 5kmFix.com, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:
- You breach these Terms.
- You misuse the platform or engage in illegal activities.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance of the new terms.
